About the Series
Rarecho is the director of the comedy anime Aggretsuko, and Fanworks is responsible for the animation. It is modeled after the Sanrio character that Yeti was responsible for creating. Netflix presented the world debut of the first season of the original web animation in April of 2018.
A year and a half later, in June of the following year, the second season premiered. On the other hand, the premiere of the third season occurred in the month of August 2020, and the premiere of the fourth season occurred in the month of December 2021. The premiere of the fifth and last season, which will take place in February of 2023, is scheduled.
“The “Aggretsuko” series chronicles the day-to-day existence of officer worker Retsuko, who uses belting out death metal as a means of coping with her frustrations with her employer, co-workers, and the world in general. In this season, after Haida quits his job, he is kicked out of the apartment that his parents own and is forced to start living at an internet café instead.
His parents own the residence. There, he comes face to face with Shikabane, a person who seems to have given up on life in general. In an effort to preserve Retsuko, Haida makes the decision to move in with him. Aggretsuko’s fifth season has 10 episodes, just like every season before it. Each episode is less than 20 minutes long, except for the last one, which is 33 minutes long.
