Netflix is not yet done with the Grishaverse just yet! The great fantasy series of Netflix Shadow and Bone has been officially renewed for a new season that’s Season 2. This means the fantasy adventure will continue on-screen for the second time. As per the reports from Netflix sources, more than 55 million member households watched the epic fantasy series in just the first 28 days. In addition to this, Shadow and Bone have made up the top 10 list in 93 countries around the world.
The series starring Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov. And the other cast includes Archie Renaux (Mayen Ortesev), Amita Suman (Inej), Kit Young (Jesper Fahey), Danielle Galligan (Nina Zednik), Freddy Carter (Kaz Brekker). The fantasy series Shadow and Bone is created and written by Heisserer. The series brings together the character and stories of both Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows, with two overlapping series in Bardugo’s Grishaverse. Over more than 2.5 million copies sold in the English language alone. Bardugo’s Grishaverse books have been translated into 38 languages around the world to date. After the launch of the series on Netflix, the shadow and bone trilogy and six of crows duology returned to the list of bestsellers worldwide. And the most amazing part is that it is on the no one list of New York Times bestsellers list for over a month.
The series has currently ranked eight for the number of points it has gathered globally behind Vincenzo. But it has a respectable 16,342 points all across the world in front of Snow piercer. The series also had the 14th biggest first-day debut on Netflix since March 2020.

Producers have dropped the series on Netflix on April 23rd, 2021. And its official renewal status for the new season was out on 6th June 2021.
