What is the plot of Ratched Season 2? (Spoiler Alert!)
The Netflix series Ratched is a psychological drama that portrays crime, mystery, and thriller all together. It is the prequel to Milos Forman’s 1975 film One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. The movie was based on the 1962 novel of the same name by Ken Kesey.
Season 1 begins with the murder of four priests by serial killer Edmund Tolleson, who claims that the head priest raped his mother, causing him to live in a foster home during his entire life. Edmund was later arrested and sent to the Lucia State Hospital, claiming that he is mentally unstable and needed to be examined. Before his arrival, Nurse Mildred Ratched shifted to California to seek a job at Lucia State Hospital. However, when she was declined the post of nurse, she blackmailed the assistant nurse in the hospital and gained the position.
It is soon revealed that Ratched arrived with the motive of helping Edmund escape as they were foster siblings.
The narrative of the show is well descriptive and explores the conflicts and struggles of Ratched. Her exterior pursuit might be glossy and attractive. However, the interior is much darker.
The first season was a happy ending for Ratched. However, his foster sibling has already figured out her plans to murder him, and now he is all set to seek revenge.
The foster siblings will face each other again in Ratched season 2, hoping to be as exciting as season 1.
