Paul Grant, an actor who was in the Star Wars and Harry Potter movies, was found dead outside of a train station. He was 56 years old.

On Thursday afternoon, Grant was found outside of the King’s Cross station in north London. He was declared dead at 3:49 a.m. on Monday, but he had already been declared brain dead after he fell. No one knows what caused the dea†h.

Grant played an Ewok in Return of the Jedi and a goblin in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. In the cult classic Labyrinth from 1986, he was one of the Goblin Corps, along with Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie.

Hoggle, who was played by Shari Weiser and whose voice was done by Brian Henson, had a stunt double in the movie Labyrinth. He also worked on the 1985 Tom Cruise movie Legend and the 1988 movie Willow.

Sophie Jayne Grant, his daughter, told Sky News that he had died. She said –

“I’m heartbroken … No girl deserves their dad to be taken away … He was so well known and loved [for his work]. He’s gone too soon.”

A London ambulance service spokesperson said –

“We were called at 2.08pm on Thursday 16 March to reports of an incident at St Pancras Station, Euston Road.”

“We sent an ambulance crew and a medic in a response car. We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”

Grant’s girlfriend, Maria Dwyer, his two daughters, one son, and his stepchildren and grandchildren are all still alive.

Dwyer paid tribute to the actor, saying –

“Paul was the love of my life. The funniest man I know. He made my life complete. Life is never going to be the same without him.”

Stacey, Grant’s stepdaughter, has started a Go Fund Me page to help pay for his funeral. She said –

“I’m starting this page as Paul sadly passed away yesterday and I would like to give him the best send off he would want.”
