On Friday, six individuals lost their lives as a result of a sequence of shootings that took place in a hamlet in Mississippi. According to Tate County Sheriff Brad Lance, who spoke to FOX 13 Memphis about the incident, six people were slain on Friday in the shootings that took place around Coldwater.

According to Lance, the suspect, who is being withheld from public identification, is being detained. Authorities said that at approximately 11:00 a.m., deputies responded to a call reporting a shooting that took place at a business located on the 8000 block of Arkabutla Road.

A second incident was reported nearby at 800 Bend Road, and then authorities received word that a third shooting had taken place at a different site. The suspect was then taken into custody by the deputies, according to the outlet.
