The anime movie stars Auliʻi Cravalho as Moana and the entire movie revolves around her.

Moana Season 2 Release Date
There is no official announcement for the renewal of Moana however it has been heard that Disney is discussing with The Rock and Auli’I for another movie and such rumors have created speculation about Moana returning to win hearts. According to reports, it’s been also heard that Moana Season 2 can premiere anytime either by the end of November 2021 or by 2022 for sure. But as we know these are only rumors and we have to wait until official confirmation from the Moana team.

Moana Season 2 Plot
Though no one from the team has shared any idea on what Moana Season 2 will look like, we can have certain guesses from season 1. So, let’s just leap the events that happened in Moana Season 1 before getting into the prospective storyline of season 2.
The story was all about Moana in the first season who the ocean chose to reunify transcendental relic with the goddess Te Fiti and she then took off to look for Maui who is a demigod with the hope of returning the mysterious relic to the goddess to save her people. We saw that the story is finished by Tala who was telling her children that Te Ka and his soldiers are still trying to find the heart of Te Fiti and one fine day somebody has to get the heart so that the world can be at peace again.
After she tells this story, Moana steps down to the beach. So, keeping the ending scene in mind we can expect that the second season will begin from there only and we will see the journey of Moana to find the heart and save her village.
