The story follows the destruction of human civilization due to the spread of the virus named H5G9 and the creation of animal hybrids. Scientists are trying to find out the origin of the virus and cure it. On the other hand, human civilization considered the animal hybrids the cause of spreading it and wanted to destroy them.
Developed by Jim Mickle, the series hit the screen on June 4, 2021. Viewers showered their love upon the show. It received positive views from both fans as well as critics. With a stunning IMDB rating of 7.9 out of 10 and a rotten tomatoes aggregate of more than 90 %, it soon becomes the most-watched English show. It gained the attention of more than 60 million people within a month of its release.

However, we can not deny that the virus is related to human hybrids in some way. Even Birdie confirmed that the animal hybrid and virus are two sides of the same coin. Is the origin of animal-hybrid and virus interconnected? Well, the truth is yet to come forth.
- What is the connection between purple flowers and the sick?
In season 1, we always see the purple flowers near the people affected by the virus. In episode 5, we saw the effect of the flowers on Gus when a bear took him in the valley of sorrows(valley of purple flowers). They created a hallucinatory effect over Gus. Is the virus generated due to these flowers? Or the reason for their growth is the presence of the virus?
Hopefully, we get the answer in season 2.
- Where did Jeoperd’s son and wife disappear?
The finale of season 1 depicted the tragedy of Jeopardy’s life. He was shocked to see his hybrid goat-son. Initially, he did not want to accept them. However, his love for his son and wife overpowered his hate, and he decided to welcome them. However, his son and wife were not in the ward when he reached there. They disappeared mysteriously. Where did they go? Did Louisa run away to save her hybrid child, or did the authorities do something?
