Code Geass Season 3 Release Date

Since we have no information about the production of Season 3, we don’t have any official release date.

The previous seasons of the anime are available on Netflix. You can watch and refresh your memory.

Code Geass Concept

In the beginning, the eleventh Prince Lelouch vi Britannia and his sister Princess Nunnally vi Britannia lived in Pendragon. It is the capital of the Holy Britannian Empire. He lost his mother at the age of ten, and Nunnally was six at that time.

During the cross-firing, Nunnally became paralyzed and blind after witnessing her mother’s death. They were angry at their father’s inaction, after which they were sent to the care of the Kururugi shrine in Japan. He renounced the throne at that time and was raised in Kururugi along with his sister.

The story then turns to World War II, where Lelouch and Suzaku Kururugi became close friends. However, they get separated due to the war, which ended in Japan in 2010. After the country’s humiliation, the area received a new name called Area 11.

Code Geass Season 3: Chances to Get Renewed

Code Geass was first aired 14 years ago. Due to its popularity, there is still the demand for a third season. However, according to us, the chances for the third season are quite low. The first reason is that we haven’t received any information on the topic even after decades of the end of the last season.

There were some rumors in the market about a new Code Geass anime being developed for July 2020. However, it proved to be a film adaptation of the video game Code Geass: Z. It doesn’t follow the plot of the previous two seasons. Therefore, the fans could expect fresh material on its way.
