“Cavalry” also known as “Chivalry of a Failed Knight” is a Japanese Romantic, Action, Thriller Television series which is inspired by the light novel series of the manga series, written by Riku Misora and epitomized by Won. The story got an anime adaptation on 3rd October 2015. The anime series is written by Shogo Yaskawa, directed by Shin Oonuma and Jin Tamamura, and licensed by Madman Entertainment, MVM Entertainment, and Sentai Filmworks. The first season of the series premiered on 3rd October 2015 and concluded on 19th December 2015 on Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, Sun TV, AT-X, and BS11, the show had a total of 12 episodes.

There is no official announcement for the renewal of the series for the second season but since the series was loved by everyone and has a 7.3 rating out of 10 on IMDB so it may be expected that the second season will definitely happen. After all the positive responses there were rumors like the second season will premiere in 2017 but that didn’t happen either confirmed, some reports also claimed that the filming would be completed by 2018 but this also didn’t happen.

Cavalry Season 2|Plot| What would be the Next Chapter?
For the folks who don’t know or remember about the synopsis of last season, let us take a quick recap of the first season before moving into the synopsis of the second season of the series.
In the last episode “Another One: Uncrowned Sword King-II ”, the final match of Ikki was to be broadcasted into the world against Toka Todo. Alice and Stella succeed in their final matches and are seen at the Seven Stars Battle Festival. Ikki reaches the arena timely despite being severely tired and injured from the previous match, mistreatment in prison, and scared by self-doubt but he was supported and encouraged by everyone at Hagun Academy. Everyone else along with Toka Todo knew that the match was already fixed but still wanted to check on the resolution of Ikki the fight, everyone shocked at that time when Ikki defeated Toka Todo, and on the other hand, Akaza, in shock was unable to accept the fact and tries to harm Ikki and then only Stella ran to save him and bashes off Akaza along the way. Later, Ikki expresses his feelings to Stella when it was still being telecasted to the whole world. Later, the Emperor of Vermillion calls Ikki’s father and advises that their children should not be dragged and bothered by their political relations. In a ceremony where Ikki was being named as the leader by Toka Todo, the Former tried to talk to Stella about the proposal but then only Alice and Shizuku arrived and he couldn’t continue.
