The soccer career of Hope Solo, which has featured several appearances for the United States women’s national team and several World Cups, is likely what makes her most well-known. She also happens to be married to former professional athlete Jerramy Stevens.
Who is Hope Solo Husband, Jerramy Stevens?
Jerramy Stevens, a former tight end in the NFL, was born in Boise, Idaho, on November 13, 1979. He was selected in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks and later played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Before that, he participated in collegiate football at the University of Washington and high school football. As a result of the Buccaneers waiving his contract following a marijuana possession arrest, Stevens quit the league in 2010.
Stevens has notably previously gotten himself into legal and criminal trouble. He was charged with felony assault in high school for assaulting a classmate, but the charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor. Even though he was never charged, he was also under investigation for s*xual assault in college. Additionally, he has had three DUI arrests.
How did Hope and Jerramy Meet?
Although the two professional athletes didn’t get married until 2012, they have been dating since the late 1990s. While both were enrolled in school at the University of Washington in 1999, Solo and Stevens first met. They briefly split up in 2011, got back together in the fall of 2012, and married soon after.
Do you know that Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso are married? The 17-year-old couple traveled to Washington, DC, for the 45th Annual Kennedy Center Honors.
Solo and Stevens didn’t have kids for most of their relationship, but in 2020 they had twins, which completely changed their lives. Vittorio Genghis Stevens and Lozen Orianna Judith Stevens were both born on March 4, 2020. One year after Solo had a miscarriage that nearly took her life, they had their miracle babies.
“The doctor said I was hours from dying,” Solo told Elle in July 2019. “They ended up having to remove my fallopian tube.”
Fertilization was used to conceive Lozen and Vittorio as a result of the operation. She wrote on Instagram in honor of their first birthday.
“Two days ago we celebrated Lozen and Vittorio’s first birthday! It’s been flat out emotional how quickly they grow up, how proud we are, how we — as a family — survived our first year in a pandemic.”
“We’re so grateful for all the love and support from family, friends, nurses and doctors even when our babies are more familiar with masks and Zoom calls than we are! We feel the love, they feel the love, and every day has been as exhausting as it was rewarding.”
It is unknown at this point whether Solo and Stevens intend to have any other children in the future. Please share your opinions in the comments section if you found this post useful. Also, remember to check out our website News Conduct for the most up-to-date information on the celebrity.
