According to court documents acquired by Page Six, Ne-Yo and Crystal Renay have successfully completed their divorce after only five months of separation.
According to TMZ, which said that it had gotten the specifics of the settlement, the singer of “Because of You” will pay his soon-to-be ex-wife a flat amount of $1.6 million to settle their real estate holdings and an additional $20,000 to cover moving fees.
Additionally, Renay will keep one of their four houses in the state of Georgia. According to the source, Ne-Yo has also agreed to write a cheque for $150,000 to Renay in order to allow her to purchase a new vehicle as he plans to keep the couple’s 2022 Bentley Bentayga.
The musician known for “So Sick,” who is 43 years old, will also provide Renay, who is 36 years old, with child support in the amount of $12,000 per month for the three children they share. Additionally, he will pay for any educational expenditures that may arise. They came to an agreement over shared custody of the children.

Finally, Ne-Yo has agreed to provide Renay with alimony in the amount of $5,000 each month for the next three years. Page Six has contacted the court in an effort to obtain the records relating to the settlement.
After Renay openly accused Ne-Yo of cheating on her in August 2022, she proceeded to seek for divorce from him a month later.
“To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane,” she said at the time. “The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t.”
In the petition for divorce, Renay stated that Ne-Yo, whose true name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, had fathered a kid with another woman, whom she referred to as his “paramour.” Shaffer Chimere Smith is Renay’s husband.
In the beginning, she and the Grammy winner decided to get married in February of 2016. After divorcing each other two years later, the on-again, off-again couple finally tied the knot one more in April 2022.
Together, the couple is parents to three young children: Shaffer Jr., age 6, Roman, age 4, and Isabella, age 1. As a result of his prior relationship with Monyetta Shaw, Ne-Yo is also the father of Madilyn, who is now 12 years old, and Mason, who is 11 years old.
