Next Level Chef, which is one of Gordon Ramsay’s most popular reality television cooking competition shows, featured Ramsay in the roles of executive producer and coach for the contestants. The upcoming premiere of the show’s second season will feature the introduction of 13 new chefs to the audience.
On the second season of Next Level Chef, thirteen skilled cooks will compete to win the approval of Gordon Ramsay and the other two culinary experts. They are going to be put through the ringer in a three-story kitchen, where they will be expected to demonstrate their skills in order to pass the test.
Mark McMillian, a former NFL player and winner of an Emmy Award, will be featured as one of the chefs on the upcoming second season of Next Level Chef. Mark’s performance on the monthly pregame show that was presented by his colleague Randall Cunningham earned him the prestigious Emmy Award in October 1995.
He played for the Kansas City Chiefs’ defense as a defensive back. Even though he has eight years of experience working in the sports industry, he only has three years of experience working in the kitchen. The following is the official plot summary for the second season of Next Level Chef:
“Produced by Studio Ramsay Global and FOX Alternative Entertainment, Next Level Chef is the next evolution in cooking competitions, as Ramsay has designed a one-of-a-kind culinary gauntlet, set on an iconic stage like you’ve never seen.”
It added:
“Over three stories high, each floor contains a stunningly different kitchen. From the glistening top floor to the challenging bottom of the basement, the ingredients match the environment, because Ramsay believes the true test of great chefs is not only what they can do in the best of circumstances, but what kind of magic they can create in the worst!”
