The Wheel of Time has been renewed for a third season by Prime Video, which confirmed the news in a press release. The Wheel of Time is based on Robert Jordan’s epic fantasy trilogy of the same name. Aes Sedai is a collective name for a group of women who wield magical power, and Moiraine is one of their numbers.
She believes that one of them is the Dragon Reborn, a fabled character who is either going to destroy the planet or save it from oblivion when they reincarnate. On the show are Rosamund Pike and Madeleine Madden as Moiraine and Josha Stradowski, Marcus Rutherford, and Zo Robins.
The first three episodes of Season 1 of the series debuted on Prime Video on November 19, 2021. After its debut, it became the most-watched show on Netflix in 2021, and Nielsen rated it the most popular show of the year.

Prime Video conducted a panel at Comic-Con San Diego 2022 today for their animated digital series The Wheel of Time: Origins. Fans of the live-action series, on the other hand, we’re in for a tremendous treat.
Besides the sizzle reel demonstrating how season 2 production is progressing, they also revealed that the program will be returning for a third season. ‘The Walking Dead’ was renewed for a second season even before the last one had begun airing.

Season 3’s plot specifics aren’t being discussed just yet, given that Season 2 hasn’t yet premiered. Rafe Judkins, executive producer, and showrunner of the program revealed that the season will be adapting material from the Wheel of Time novel The Shadow Rising, which was released in 1992 and covers the events that occur after the Dragon Reborn claims the crystal sword Callandor.
The Dragon Reborn, the third novel in the series, may or may not be converted into a TV movie during Season 2.
Season 3’s production schedule has not yet been determined. However, given that the Wheel of Time season 2 production wrapped up in February, it’s likely that the third season will begin filming this fall. Even though it’s a large and expensive production, this will help the show stay on schedule for delivering new episodes each year.
