The new episodes of Transplant are not arriving right now as NBC is taking a break from it. Fans have many questions in mind, like How this decision will affect the future of the series? What are the chances of the arrival of Transplant 3? Here is everything you need to know about Season 3.
Currently, many medical dramas are running over the screen worldwide, but the Canadian taste provides a different view for the series Transplant. Transplant gives something more than the rest of the dramas and brings forward a different topic. It brings different topics without including patients to worry about the high costs of medical treatments if they are lacking private insurance.
The second important element of the series is that the Syrian refugee crisis remains its focus. Bash, the lead character, is a Syrian refugee who tries to become a doctor in Canada. He faces lots of problems on his way. The most disturbing one is the lack of transcripts from his country due to the current circumstances. An introduction to the other doctors and nurses working at York Memorial Hospital is also a part of the series. Season 2 also took us on the journey of Bash, and here we are now with Transplant 3.
Transplant Season 3 Possibility
We have received good news related to Transplant 3. CTV agreed to renew the show for its third season. The news came out earlier in 2022. However, this was just the first hurdle of the race, as NBC has not said anything yet about the production of Season 3.
NBC acquired the series from a Canadian broadcaster, so everything depended upon them. If Canadian broadcaster would renew the series for a third season, then we’ll probably witness Transplant 3. However, they jumped over the hurdle quite soon.

The next one to talk about is whether NBC will acquire the series from the Canadians or not? The answer to this question is not easy to find, but the probability of doing so is quite high. Depending upon NBC’s decision, we’ll get to receive Transplant 3.
The ratings of Transplant Season 2 might influence their decision, as it received a downfall in ratings. The factors responsible for such a downfall were shifting the show from a Tuesday night to a more competitive Sunday night, shifting it from a fall to a spring telecast, and a month-long break into the mix.
