As UFC 4, which launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One three years ago, draws to a close, fans are eager for the series’ upcoming installment. On social media, EA Sports has been dropping hints about the forthcoming game, and now UFC 5 has been officially announced.
We will have to be patient until closer to the UFC 5 release date when more information will be available.
UFC 5 Release Date
EA Sports has unveiled crucial information on the release of UFC 5, the most recent game in the MMA video game franchise. On October 27, 2023, UFC 5 will launch, and gamers who pre-order the deluxe edition will receive some special bonuses.
EA Sports has revealed the date for the highly anticipated UFC 4 sequel in a press release. Israel “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya, Valentina “The Bullet” Shevchenko, and Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski are the athletes featured on the company’s cover, which was revealed yesterday.
They announced today that the game will be launched in October and that those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will receive in-game fighter legends Fedor Emilianenko and Muhammad Ali. EA Sports has had some success with its UFC video games, but they haven’t always owned the franchise’s publishing rights.
UFC Undisputed was the first videogame that the UFC released under the THQ label. UFC Undisputed 3 became one of the best-selling games of 2012, along with Call of Duty: Black Ops and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The game was a success, and THQ went on to develop two sequels.

The publishing rights for the UFC video games were up for grabs when THQ filed for bankruptcy back in late 2012. With a substantial chunk of money, EA Sports came in and purchased them. Four UFC video games have been released by EA since they acquired the license.
The long-time world light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones was on the UFC cover. Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey, who both went on to have somewhat successful TV and film careers, were featured in UFC 2.
McGregor’s star power in the sport was demonstrated by his appearance as the only athlete on the cover of UFC 3. The news that Adesanya, the UFC Middleweight Champion, will be appearing on the cover of UFC 5 electrified fans.
He and Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal were on the cover of UFC 4 at one point. Adesanya has gained popularity among the audience because of both his distinctive and thrilling fighting style and his enthusiasm for anime.
The champion bears a tattoo of the Eight Trigram Seal, which maintains Kurama the Nine-Tailed Fox inside the main character and has displayed the Reaper Death Seal hand gestures from Naruto. Additionally, he imitated writing his opponents’ names in the Death Note from the corresponding anime. His bouts are thrilling and can terminate in an instant.
