JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Police are looking into a possible rolling shootout with two cars pursuing one other through an apartment complex in Jackson County.

At 10:41 p.m., police were summoned. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Saturday, October 29, they responded to a complaint of multiple shots fired near Tanbark Lane West in Summit Township.
When deputies arrived to an apartment complex nearby, they found two structures and four vehicles that had been hit by gunfire, according to the police.
36 shot casings and a surveillance video that appeared to show two vehicles pursuing one another while its occupants opened fire were found by police after they searched the area, according to authorities.

According to authorities, the two vehicles are thought to be a grey Dodge Avenger or Charger and a red Dodge Durango.
There are currently no known suspects in the shooting and no casualties have been found.
