This past Sunday’s episode of “The Walking Dead” concluded with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) still on the hunt for his loved ones among the zombie apocalypse. When Governor Pamela Milton ordered the white-armored troopers of the Commonwealth to move the zombie horde out of the city’s gated Estates and into the city’s lower ward, the survivors found themselves hemmed in by both the troopers and the horde (Laila Robins). Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) performed an emergency blood transfusion to save Judith Grimes’ (Cailey Fleming) life after she was trapped in the gunfire between Governor Milton’s army and the mutant walkers who had broken into the hospital. the walking dead ending explained.

The walkers infesting the streets of the Commonwealth claimed the lives of Luke (Dan Fogler) and his girlfriend Jules (Alex Sgambati). Separating from the rest of the gang, Rosita (Christian Serratos), Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam), and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) fought their way to the children’s home, where Rosita’s infant daughter had been taken, despite the onslaught of walkers. While everything was going on, Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), and Ezekiel (Khary Payton) aided in the jailbreak of General Mercer (Michael James Shaw), whom Governor Milton had arrested for treason following Mercer’s failed coup attempt.
After everyone had met in the Estates’ safe house, Mercer refused to watch as Governor Milton’s forces opened fire on civilians who had broken through the gates. “Do not engage in this battle. None of these are your native “Mercer informed the remaining individuals. “Sure, they are. While rallying the people, Ezekiel informed Mercer, “You may not think this area is worth protecting, but I do. It seems sense, considering how they treated us. To me, the cost is justified. Just for the people. They won’t go down without a fight from me, either. Unfortunately, not today. You have my support. In addition, who else?” the walking dead ending explained.
To save the people Governor Milton had left to die outside the Estates, everyone risked their lives to open the gates. They’ll all come flooding in if I let the dead out,” she reasoned. The phrase “not only the alive” is used. Daryl reminded her, “We ain’t the walking dead; we ain’t even the living dead.” To dissuade Maggie from killing Governor Milton, Negan even offered to fire the killing shot himself. Before Maggie could shoot, Governor Milton was arrested by Mercer for high crimes against the people of the Commonwealth, a fate that the once incarcerated Negan described as “worse than death.”

The residents of the Commonwealth joined the survivors as the walkers advanced upon the Estates, and together they lured the undead into the booby-trapped walled neighborhood. The Estates and the walkers were destroyed in a series of explosions triggered by a timed detonation after the residents had departed and their private sewers had been inundated with gasoline from the military.
When the dust settled, Pamela found herself right where she belonged: in jail. Maggie informed Negan she didn’t want to hate him anymore but that she would never forgive him for killing Glenn. Following a final family supper at which they toasted their ancestors and paid their respects, Rosita disclosed that she had died from a walker’s bite.
The Commonwealth started over after traveling back in time by a year.
