Obi-Wan Kenobi is a beloved character in the Star Wars universe. In 1977, George Lucas cast Sir Alec Guinness as the famed Jedi Master, but it was Ewan McGregor who brought the character to life for a whole new generation of Star Wars fans in the prequel trilogy.
Many Star Wars fans viewed McGregor’s performance in Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999), Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002), and Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005) to be a bright light in a trio of films that, at the time, were not widely lauded.
Reunions between McGregor and Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader) in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series have been welcomed by fans in the intervening years. However, it appears that fans will no longer have to wait to find out how the show begins.
Per a new report:
The Jedi Temple from the prequel trilogy can be seen in recent footage of [Obi-Wan Kenobi] that was displayed in Burbank. Two young Padawans are under the protection of two Jedi Masters from a swarm of Clone Troopers. In their late teens or early twenties, the two Jedi appeared.

It’s a sad scene for the two Padawan students as their instructors are murdered. In order to allow their students to live, the masters are sacrificed, and the two are able to escape the temple bloodbath as they fight their way out of it.
On Tatooine after the execution of Emperor Palpatine’s Order 66, which is eight years after the events ofRevenge of the Sith (2005) when McGregor’s Jedi Master is in exile, it appears that the Deborah Chow series will start up, maybe continuing with the Star Wars canon to fill out some blanks.
After seeing clone troops turn against Jedi General Depa Billaba in the first episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars spinoff series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch has been doing this since.
Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (CGI Mark Hamill/Graham Hamilton) helped Grogu remember part of what occurred to him during the Great Jedi Purge in the Mandalorian spinoff storey, The Book of Boba Fett.
Because of Ahsoka Tano’s (Rosario Dawson) Force connection with the foundling, we already knew Grogu was on Coruscant’s Jedi Temple, but the recent “Mando-Verse” series provided more information about his whereabouts.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will continue the Order 66 storyline in addition to these two new series, it has been revealed.
Newcomers including Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Sung Kang will enter the Star Wars tale for the first time with McGregor and Christensen as Luke’s aunt Beru and uncle Owen Lars respectively.
There has also long been speculation that Darth Vader’s Inquisition will make its live-action debut in Obi-Wan Kenobi, and that we will see the beginning of the Jedis’ time spent watching over a little farm kid named Luke Skywalker from a distance.
