According to co-creator Patrick Schumacker, audio mixing for the third season of Harley Quinn has just begun.
In 2019, this DC Comics-inspired adult animated series, starring Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) as the harlequin supervillain herself, swept the TV landscape.

Its third season was officially authorized in September 2020, but we haven’t heard anything significant about its progress since then.
Schumacker posted a picture of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy (voiced by Lake Bell) from the show to Twitter on Thursday (March 3), writing: “The first audio mix for @dcharleyquinn SEASON 3 has been completed! Get the word out there! It’s occurring now! It’s going to happppppppp!”
It’s not just his collaborator Justin Halpern who has been a major source of information about Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy’s narrative.
To be in a decent relationship after spending much of your life in toxic and unhealthy relationships is a tall order. What impact do your past relationships have on the one you’re in now, the one you want to work on?
‘We spent two years looking into Harley,’ he stated to Deadline. ‘And Ivy was her own character, but her storylines were largely delivered in reference to Harley.’

For the next third season, I think it would be interesting to take a closer look at Ivy and her story from her perspective and tell some stories from her point of view.
