On Wednesday, former NBA star Shawn Kemp was arrested for a felony after he allegedly fired a gun during a fight in a parking lot.
Outside a Tacoma, Washington shopping mall at around 2:00 p.m., a 53-year-old man named Kemp, who was wearing a red vest, walked up to a car, pointed his gun at the occupants, and appeared to yell before firing at least once.
Witnesses say they heard multiple gunshots before pulling out their phones to record the event. They also say they saw Kemp drive around the parking lot and drop his gun in a bush before talking to police.

Kemp makes what appears to be a signal for help from the police in order to pursue the other car. A handgun was hidden in a bush in the parking lot, and footage shows police officers searching the area.
As we said before, Kemp was taken to the Pierce County Jail at 5:58 PM and charged with felony drive-by shooting.
Sources told Fox 13 that Kemp was trying to get back things he said had been stolen on Tuesday. When he found the things on Wednesday afternoon, someone shot at him first.
Kemp says he only resorted to violence in order to protect himself. It was earlier in the day that Kemp was seen wearing the same outfit while touring a cannabis grow house.
