One of the six people on board a boat that collided with a jetty close to Cold Storage Beach on a Friday night was Sadie Mauro, a prospective senior at Dover-Sherborn High School. After the incἰdent, Massachusetts State Police launched a search-and-rescue effort at 11 p.m. to find a person who was thought to be missing from the boat that had crashed almost two hours earlier in Sesuit Harbor.

Sadie was a skilled all-state lacrosse player, and everyone who knew her could see her love and devotion for the game. What Happened to Sadie Mauro?
According to MetroWest Daily Facebook Page, Sadie Mauro, a top lacrosse player from Dover-Sherborn High School in Massachusetts, unfortunately, perished in a boat accἰdent near Cape Cod on Friday, July 21. Sadie was 17 years old. Around 9:00 p.m., the event took place in Sesuit Harbor, Dennis, close to Cold Storage Beach.
Sadie was one of six passengers in a boat that struck a jetty. The boat sank as a result of the collision, and Sadie was reported missing following the mishap. The U.S. Coast Guard, Massachusetts Environmental Police, Barnstable County Dive Team, and Sandwich Fire Department launched a search-and-rescue operation right away to find her.
Unfortunately, about 11:30 p.m. that same night, the U.S. Coast Guard found Sadie’s body. The authorities also treated a 17-year-old boy who was also on the boat and had suffered a head ἰnjury in the crash. Although he was rushed to a nearby hospital, there was no immediate word on his health.
