They haven’t died yet, Popuko and Pipimi It is instead that Pop Team Epic’s dizzyingly ludicrous combo is seeing a resurgence as the anime prepares for Season 2. Bub Okawa, a Japanese manga artist, developed a bizarre Japanese humor comic with the same name.
From manga and meme culture to anime fandom, the duo’s bizarre escapades made their way across the internet before being adapted into an anime in 2018. “Pop Team Epic” fans had seen nothing fresh since then, and it nearly looked as though the series was finished. In a good way, the recently announced second season is on its way.
Even though the season’s narrative and characters have not yet been revealed, there is still a lot to think about. The following is an update on the status of “Pop Team Epic” season 2.
Pop Team Epic Season 2 Storyline
“Pop Team Epic” has a narrative that lacks a great deal. Although there is less, Popuko and Pipimi are their only genuine continuous features. If you’re hoping for more than a few minutes of travel time from the two of them, you’re out of luck.
There’s usually enough time for a joke or two to be aired before the program moves on to the next absurdity. This is in keeping with its four-panel comic heritage. In addition, each episode practically repeats itself in the weird anime series. To be honest, each episode is only half-filled with content from the authors and animators.
By having two different vocal performances for each repeat, the anime can achieve a twofold increase in duration.

Popuko and Pipimi may be voiced by a female duo in the first part of the program, while the second half has an over-the-top male version of the same comedy. This is the longest-running joke in the program, in both the sub and dub versions. It’s unclear at this time if the showrunners plan to recycle this concept for Season 2 when it airs next year.
Pop Team Epic Season 2 Cast
As of this writing, it’s not clear what type of cast, crew, or studio has been attached to the second season. According to the first season, viewers should expect the unexpected in the second season since there are still numerous ways the new episodes might surprise them.
Changes to the storyline and/or the voice cast may also be in the works, so stay tuned for more information. However, there are several ways to see what the series has to offer.
Tohru Adachi voiced by Pipimi
At the time of this writing, Pipimi is 14. In addition to Popuko, she is one of the two recurring characters in Pop Team Epic. In a series of frequently exaggerated sketches and parodies, the two are always depicted going into over-the-top and outrageous escapades. She’s the team’s leader. Advertisement.

Pop Team Epic Season 2 Release Date
Pop Team Epic’s second season has yet to be released, but we do have a solid notion of its release timetable. The anime’s official Twitter account announced Season 2, which would premiere sometime in 2022, following the completion of the series’ “remix” broadcast. Unfortunately, that’s all we know about Season 2’s plot at this point.

Fans of “Pop Team Epic” may be able to get their dose at the beginning of January if Season 2 maintains the same seasonal time slot as its predecessor. However, an early January release date looks unlikely with the revelation of Season 2’s release date.
However, “Pop Team Epic” would be the perfect anime to be published in such an unconventional manner. Season 2 will be available for download and streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation immediately after its first Japanese showing.
Where Can I See It Online?
