Pamela Anderson says that when the infamous s*x tape of her and Tommy Lee came out, it “ruined” her marriage.
People magazine got an excerpt of the Baywatch star’s new book, Love, Pamela, in which she talks about how she fell in love with the Motley Crüe drummer and married him in 1995. She said that the theft and release of their stolen honeymoon tape put pressure and stress on their relationship and led to their dramatic breakup.
“My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was truly in love,” Anderson wrote. She was married to Lee from 1995 to 1998, then to Kid Rock from 2006 to 2007, Rick Salomon from 2007 to 2008 (but the marriage was dissolved), Jon Peters from 2020 to 2020 (but not legally), and Dan Hayhurst from 2020 to 2021. (2020-2022).
After getting married quickly on a beach in Cancun, with the bride in a bikini and the groom in boardshorts, “we just wanted to have babies and be together forever,” the Playboy cover star wrote. Of that era, “We had fun and our rule was no rules.”

“It ruined lives, starting with our relationship — and it’s unforgivable that people, still to this day, think they can profit from such a terrible experience, let alone a crime,” wrote Anderson, who has never watched it and shaded Hulu’s Pam & Tommy for it’s retelling of the story last year.
The stolen video brought the couple extra attention and stress when they were just getting used to the ups and downs of married life. Anderson lost a pregnancy in the year 1995. Then, in 1996 and 1997, they had their sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee.
In 1998, Lee was arrested for assaulting his wife, and Anderson got an emergency protection order against him. He made a deal with the judge and will spend 180 days in jail and do community service.
Anderson wrote about the event in his book. She said, “Tommy took Brandon away from me and threw me and Dylan into a wall.” At the time, she was holding 7-week-old Dylan and Brandon was playing nearby. She said she was scared, so she called 911.
“Our hell began,” Anderson wrote. The next day, he filed for a divorce, saying that he and his wife couldn’t get along. In that same year, the divorce was finalized. (It was the second time she asked for a divorce; the first time, in 1996, she changed her mind.)
“The divorce from Tommy was the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life,” Anderson wrote. “I was crushed. I still couldn’t believe that the person I loved the most was capable of what had happened that night. We were both devastated, but I had to protect my babies.”
After the divorce and Lee’s time in jail, the famous couple got back together. During the 2000s, they were on and off because of their other relationships.
As for their relationship today, she said they “check in, every once in a while,” adding that Lee, who is married to fourth wife Brittany Furlan, “is the father of my kids and I’m forever grateful.” In the year 2020, Anderson moved back to her hometown of Ladysmith, British Columbia. Early in 2022, her short marriage to a construction worker who was working on her house was over.
People asked her where she lives “I have a more romantic life now that I’m single than when I was with someone else… I’m sure it would be great if I had someone in my life who wanted the same thing, but I’ve never met that person. Most of the time, it’s about meeting their needs, and there has to be a balance.”
