Fans of Boku no Hero Academia will be relieved to hear that the sixth season of My Hero Academia is nearly here. The long-running anime is often likened to the Marvel and DC universes because it has heroic and villainous characters similar to those found in Western comic books and movie theatres.

My Hero Academia, on the other hand, aspires to be stranger, funnier, and more human than the standard spandex action adventure, unlike those universes. Without the limitations of live action, the show is free to embrace the eccentricities that make superhero stories so compelling. So it’s no surprise that the show keeps going with the same dogged spirit that helps Izuku Midoriya succeed at UA High.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Release Date

After months of speculation—and a cryptic magazine cover for The Weekly Shonen Jump—we now know that the sixth season of My Hero Academia will premiere on October 1. The programme is scheduled to premiere on that Saturday in Japan, and Crunchyroll will likely distribute it soon after, though the exact timeframe is unknown at this time. Seasons two through five of My Hero Academia each had 25 episodes, so a similar number should be in store for season six. In light of this, the season 6 finale should drop before the end of March.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Plot

In the last moments of the fifth season of My Hero Academia, we saw Class 1A looking out over a city overrun by supervillains. We can therefore assume that the Paranormal Liberation War, a big event in their reality, will be the subject of season six. The bad guys are going to form a super-coalition and wage war on our heroes.

There are many reasons to be excited, not the least of which is that this is one of the most talked-about chapters in Kohei Horikoshi’s manga. Chapters 253–306 of the graphic novels focus on the Paranormal Liberation War, which is the main focus of the comic novels. Without giving too much away, Hawks’ stealthy reconnaissance has provided the Heroes with enough intel to take on the Paranormal Liberation Front head-on. My Hero Academia Season 6.
