Huck owes money to a loan shark, therefore the drama and action-adventure of Me Time come from Sonny and Huck trying to get out of town without damaging anything.

Russell and has been nominated for two Academy Awards for his work on The Departed and The Fighter. In Me Time, Regina Hall adds to her long list of comedic roles by playing Maya Fisher, Sonny’s wife. Maya, a well-respected architect, appreciates Sonny for what he adds to their relationship and family dynamic. She plans to meet up with her boss, Armando, while taking the kids to see her relatives, so that Sonny may have some time to himself.

Hall rose to prominence in television as Dawn Darcy on Showtime’s Black Monday, while she is most remembered for her performance in the Scary Movie series. Stan Berman (Jimmy O. Yang) – Stan, the loan shark to whom Huck is indebted, is portrayed by Jimmy O. Yang. Besides his role as Bernard in Crazy Rich Asians, Yang has appeared in Silicon Valley and Space Force, both of which include comedic casts. Next up for him is 80 for Brady, starring Jane Fonda.

Sonny might be envious of Armando Zavala, played by Luis Gerardo Mendez, Maya’s sleazy boss. Club de Cuervos and Narcos: Mexico both featured Mexican actor Luis Gerardo Mendez. Currently, he may be seen on Peacock’s The Resort, a bleak comedy.

The British artist Seal, best known for his hit “Kiss From a Rose,” makes a brief appearance in the film as himself.
