Mare of Easttown Season 2 is all viewers who watched the first season can think of. The gritty HBO series was initially released as a limited series in April 2021 but it seems like fans want Mare of Easttown Season 2 as well.

It’s not that Mare’s story wasn’t completed in the first season. It’s just that the cast and storyline were so good that viewers want Mare of Easttown Season 2 also.

“If Brad [Inglesby, writer] felt like he had a story to tell that felt like it would be at the same level, I think everybody would be open to it.”

So, it seems like as soon as the writer, Brad Ingles comes up with something just as interesting and good as season 1, if not more, Mare of Easttown Season 2 will happen. If Mare of Easttown Season 2 were to happen, the main cast of season 1 would be a part of it. Kate Winslet, the protagonist, expressed in a recent interview that she would love to be a part of Mare of Easttown Season 2. She said:

“I would absolutely love to play Mare again. I miss her. I really do. It’s the strangest thing. I feel like I’m in mourning. It was an absolutely wonderful role.”
