Knock at the Cabin: What would you do if someone came to your door and asked you to sacrifice a family member to save the world from the end of the world? Would you believe them, or would you do everything to protect your family from strangers who seemed to be asking the impossible?

In the trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming movie Knock at the Cabin, Dave Bautista, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abby Quinn, and Rupert Grint play four armed strangers who hold a family of three hostages until they make the ultimate sacrifice.

The upcoming movie will be based on Paul Tremblay’s 2018 horror novel The Cabin at the End of the World. It will take place in a remote cabin where Andrew (Jonathan Groff) and Eric (Ben Aldridge) are taking their daughter Wen on vacation (Kristen Cui).

But while they were on vacation away from the city, four strangers knocked on their cabin door and told them they had to make an impossible choice to stop the end of the world. They had to choose one of the three of them to die.

No one can leave until they make a decision, and Leonard, played by Bautista, said that every “no” to the four strangers would lead to the deaths of hundreds of people.

Now, the family has to decide if they want to save themselves or do something that is unthinkable. Shyamalan has made several well-received thrillers and is well-known in the field.

Some of his films, like The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, The Visit, Split, and Glass, have become part of popular culture and will stay there forever. If there’s one thing Shyamalan’s work has taught us, nothing ends without a twist.

Knock at the Cabin is the director’s second R-rated movie. Based on the trailer and the cast, it seems likely that the upcoming movie will do as well at the box office as M. Night Shyamalan’s other movies.

Knock at the Cabin looks like another home invasion movie like Inside, The Strangers, You’re Next, and Hush, which we’ve seen over the years. But since Shyamalan is in charge, we can expect more than just a lot of violence and blood.

And no matter what, we’re all here to see how it ends. Shyamalan directed the movie and produced it with Marc Bienstock and Ashwin Rajan. Steven Schneider, Christos V. Konstantakopoulos, and Ashley Fox oversaw the production.

“Four armed strangers take a young girl and her parents hostage while on vacation in a remote cabin. The strangers want the family to make an impossible choice to stop the end of the world. Since they can’t get much information from the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before it’s too late.”
