Katy Perry’s childhood played a major role in establishing her fame as well as net worth. She was born on the 25th of October, 1984, in Santa Barbara, California. She is the child of Pentecostal pastors Mary and Maurice and was raised in a Christian family.
Because of her parent’s work setting up churches, she used to move across the country between the age of 3 to 11, before settling back in at Santa Barbara. She also has two siblings and growing up, she was just permitted to hear religious music, mostly gospel music.
