The trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 has been out, and it teases the prospect of new adversaries for the assassin character played by Keanu Reeves. The official logline for John Wick 4 reads as follows: Keanu Reeves’ character, John Wick, discovers a way to beat the High Table. But in order for Wick to get his freedom, he has to fight a new adversary who has tremendous relationships all across the world and forces that turn former allies become enemies.

The upcoming John Wick installment, directed by Chad Stahelski, will include an all-new assemblage of mind-blowing action set pieces. Not just Wick, but also Donnie Yen and Hiroyuki Sanada introduce swordplay into the mix, and at one point in the action, Wick is seen wielding a pair of nunchucks. When Wick tells the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) in one scene, “I’m going to need a gun,” it is clear that there will be a significant amount of gunfire in addition to this.

There is also an exciting pursuit scene that takes place in the middle of the desert on horseback. In John Wick 4, the role of one of the primary adversaries, which will be played by Bill Skarsgard’s character, will take centre stage.
