James L. Wittenberg is now serving as the chief judge for 45A District Court in Michigan. After being elected to the court in November 2008, he was given the honour of being selected to serve on the bench in January 2009. In 2009, the Supreme Court of Michigan selected him to serve as Chief Justice of the court.
