Numerous online rumors claim that the Las Vegas family who saw two ‘aliens’ in their backyard is missing. A family in Nevada called 911 in late April and reported seeing an unidentified item fall from the sky into their backyard.
They said two giant “aliens” with shiny eyes emerged from the UFO, and officers were sent to the home to investigate. The family told police they were “big creatures” that were around “10 feet tall” and “100% not human” – but didn’t get a video.
Officers took the report very seriously since that same night, Las Vegas police surveillance footage picked up a weird object in the sky. The family has reportedly vanished.
Is The Family Missing, Who Saw Aliens?
No. The family that discovered the “aliens” is not missing, as far as is known. No reports indicate that the family cannot be located, and the rumors are unfounded. It seems like made-up bogus news. The individual who made the unsettling 911 call is unknown, although he lives around 80 miles from Area 51. He said:
“There’s like an 8-foot person beside it and another one is inside us. And it has big eyes and it’s looking at us, and it’s still there.”
He continued:
“It’s in my backyard. I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually – we’re terrified. They’re very large. They’re like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot. They look like aliens to us.”
“Big eyes. They have big eyes. Like, I can’t explain it. And big mouth. They’re shiny eyes and they’re not human. They’re 100% not human.”

Police Footage Captures UFO
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s surveillance footage from earlier that day showed an odd UFO flying over the sky. Around 11:50 p.m. on April 30, their camera captured a flash. The family then dialed the number about 39 minutes later.
Since the incident occurred more than a month ago, the case has been closed due to the “unfounded” nature of the allegations. However, after police body camera footage from the incident was made available last week, it quickly went viral on social media.

In the eight-minute video, you can see officers responding to the 911 call and going to the residence to speak with the family.
One officer said:
“I’m so nervous right now. I have butterflies, bro – saw a shooting star and now these people say there’s aliens in their backyard.”
Videos of the ‘aliens’ are also widely popular on TikTok. However, it has been confirmed that the video is entirely unrelated and digitally produced.
