The murder of beautician Elle Edwards on Christmas Eve in a pub in Wallasey has led to the arrests of three people.
While out with friends at the Lighthouse pub in Wirral last year, 26-year-old Edwards was shot in the head just before midnight. She was taken to the hospital, where she later passed away.
Thomas Waring is accused of having a weapon in his possession and aiding a criminal. Merseyside police have announced that the 20-year-old man from Barnston, Wirral, will be appearing in the Wirral adult remand court on Thursday morning.
Undoubtedly, many people have fallen victim to the rise in crime, and some of them have even lost their lives. We have covered the following recent crimes that have occurred in the country:
- 3 Including a Child Killed in a Possible Home Invasion in Bolingbrook.
- Alex Murdaugh Held Responsible For Killing His Wife And Children.
Both the Heswall man and the Tranmere woman, both 23, who were arrested on suspicion of murder conspiracy have since been released on bail. Connor Chapman, age 22, is scheduled to go on trial for murder on June 7.
It is unlikely that Edwards was the intended victim of the attack, which also resulted in the wounding of four men. Witnesses said that a gunman shot into the pub’s front door and then drove away in a dark car.
Edwards’ “beautiful” woman was remembered in a statement released by her family after her passing. It said –
“She had this way about her that as soon as you met her, you just instantly fell in love with her. Everyone that met Elle knew how special she was.”
Information, CCTV, dashcam, and mobile phone footage can all be uploaded directly to the investigation team through the force’s public portal, where police say anyone with information in connection with Edwards’ murder can pass it along.
