The Star-studded Don’t Look Up is a forthcoming sci-fi comedy film. It is written and directed by an Oscar Award winner director Adam McKay. The film includes few big names Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet, and Cate Blanchett.
Initially, Paramount was the distributor of the film in November 2019. However, Netflix took over the movie in February 2020. Filming of it was supposed to commence in April 2020. However, the shooting got delayed due to the global pandemic of coronavirus. Ultimately, the shooting began in November 2020. The producers wrap up the shooting in February 2021. Since then, fans of Adam McKay have been waiting for its premiere.

Don’t Look Up Release Date
Initially, Netflix planned to release the film in 2020. However, due to the spread of coronavirus, it didn’t happen. Now, Netflix has come up with a new release date. Don’t Look Up will first premiere in theaters on December 10, 2021, and later on Netflix on December 24, 2021.

Plot/ Storyline
Netflix has unveiled the synopsis indication towards the plot of the film.
The sci-fi follows the two extremely sincere astronomers, Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Dr. Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence) discovered surprising facts during their study.
They found that a large meteorite is heading towards the Earth will hit it in six months. The meteorite, if not stopped, will destroy the Earth forever. Now, the responsibility befalls on the shoulders of the astronomers to make everyone aware of the apprehended danger. They will convince the government, warn the public through talk shows and other means.
It will be interesting to see how both the astronomers will handle the situation and save the world. So stay tuned till the film arrives on Netflix.
