A podiatrist in the real world might know Dr. Stone, but in the anime universe, he’s a rising star who’s already won the hearts of many. Following a strange incident that turned nearly everyone into stone, the future world of “Dr. Stone,” a manga adaptation, is set for thousands of years. Senku, an intelligent teen, gets revived one day.

After a while, Taiju does the same, and they work together to find a means to resurrect the rest of humanity when they’re not fighting off lions and deadly gases. The science may not always line up, but when the story is so compelling, it doesn’t have to.

After the first two seasons, there are still many unanswered questions, but a new trailer for Season 3 has confirmed that much more will be revealed in the third season. Here are some things to look forward to in “Dr. Stone” Season 3.

Dr Stone Season 3 Storyline

The teaser for “Dr. Stone” Season 3 hinted that Senku and his buddies would embark on a maritime expedition. Anime fans may expect the manga’s “Age of Exploration” storyline to be adapted in the following season. To find out more about what caused humans to become stone, they built the magnificent ship Perseus and traveled the planet.

More innovations are made along the road to assist in the effort to bring humanity back on track. The manga has been running since 2017, and there are no signs of it stopping. Yuusuke Kobayashi as Senkuu Ishigami

Ysuke Kobayashi is a Japanese voice actor who hails from Tokyo. He’s a part of Yu-rin Pro’s team. At the 11th Seiyu Awards, he took home the Best New Actor Award. He is 1.64 m tall and was born in Tokyo.

Kengo Kawanishi as Asagiri Gen

Voice actor Kengo Kawanishi hails from Japan. He used to be represented by Office Kaoru, but Mausu Promotion is now his new home.

Gen Satou as Chrome

Gen Sat is a Kanagawa Prefecture-based voice actor with ties to I’m Enterprise. Dr. Stone, Stars Align, Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki, and Pretty Boy Detective Club all feature him as Chrome or Rintar Futsu.

Dr Stone Season 3 Release Date

The first “Dr. Stone” season premiered in the summer of 2019, and the second season will premiere at the start of 2021, around a year and a half after the first. In the absence of an official release date, Season 3 Dr. Stone previously revealed that the third season of the anime would be released sometime in 2023, although this might change.

There is no word on when the upcoming episodes of “Dr. Stone” will be released, despite the teaser’s promise of an epic sea voyage. People who live in the United States should be prepared to wait a bit longer for new episodes to air when they do. Toonami premieres the English dubs of the episodes after they first air in Japan. Looper will be the first to know when either release date is set.
