The Blue Beetle streaming on Max will launch on the date that Warner Bros. Discovery has just announced. Jaime Reyes’s Blue Beetle will appear on screen in the next DCU revamp. Blue Beetle was only loosely associated with the DCEU at first, but beginning with the 2023 film, he will be a part of the DCU in all respects.
As a result, Blue Beetle is now the DCU’s first officially established character. It’s crucial to view his story prior to the streaming release if you want to keep up with DCU releases.
Max can purchase Blue Beetle on Friday, November 17th, just one week from now. The film chronicles the encounter between adolescent DC superhero Jaime Reyes and an extraterrestrial gadget known as the Scarab, according to the Twitter page:

What’s Next for Blue Beetle in the DC Universe?
It’s unclear at this time exactly when and how Reyes will appear in the upcoming DC superhero films. The anticipated Superman: Legacy holds the title of being the first DCU film, not the first Blue Beetle film.
There’s a fair chance Blue Beetle may appear in the future Booster Gold production, though it’s unclear how the DCU will treat the events in Blue Beetle’s first movie. In the comics, Blue Beetle and Booster Gold are friends who add a lot of humor to the narrative.
It would make sense for Blue Beetle to appear in the upcoming Booster Gold TV series, given that he is among the original DCU characters. Angel Manuel Soto, the director of Blue Beetle, and James Gunn have discussed this.
However, a second solo Blue Beetle film is not likely in the near future. Throughout “Chapter One: Gods and Monsters,” the first chapter of the DCU, the emphasis is on reintroducing well-known heroes like Batman and Superman.
Is ‘Blue Beetle’ Coming Back to the Big Screen?
Given that the film only brought in $129 million at the global box office, one could easily conclude that fans of Xolo Maridueña’s hero have seen their days.
However, Peter Safran and James Gunn were brought on board early this year to oversee the company’s future ambitions; Gunn predicted that Maridueña’s portrayal of Jaime Reyes would most likely make a comeback for additional adventures in their DC Universe.
Next year, a television series will introduce the new franchise before Superman: Legacy, which is soon to hit theaters, makes its big screen debut.
