Many of these familiar actors and actresses are back in Asteroid City, which shouldn’t be a surprise. However, Anderson’s sandbox now has some exciting new actors and actresses.
Asteroid City Release Date
Asteroid City is set to come out in the summer of 2023. On June 16, it will be shown in a few theaters, probably in New York and Los Angeles. On June 23, it will be shown in theaters all over the US. No release dates have been given for the UK or other countries.

Asteroid City will be a bit of a break from the big summer movies The Flash and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Its national release will take place between these two movies. Asteroid City’s story and script were written by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola. This is the official plot summary:
“Asteroid City is a poetic meditation on the meaning of life. It tells the story of a fictional American desert town circa 1955 and its Junior Stargazer convention, which brings together students and parents from across the country for scholarly competition, rest/recreation, comedy, drama, romance and more.”
