Reunite our ladies! New episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars have returned now that spring has sprung. The most popular queens from previous seasons of Drag Race will be back for another shot at immortality.
The stakes are high for the ladies after recent victories by Jinkx Monsoon (who won for a second time and went on to Broadway) and Sasha Colby (who became a household name by turning a drag bloodbath into a meet-and-greet). I hope they’ve practiced enough death drops, snatch games, and runway reveals to last the full season.

If previous seasons of All Stars and Drag Race are any indication, the queens will be battling for a laughable top prize of $200,000. As always, they’ll be competing for a spot in Drag Race history. It’s possible that the winner will also receive the same amount of Anastasia Beverly Hills makeup that last year’s winner did.

Mother Ru enjoys keeping viewers on their toes by modifying the format of the show season each season. Since all of the queens were All-Stars veterans and the competition was much tighter this season, none of them were eliminated.
We could see a return to the formula of Season 6 for All-Stars 8, given that it is a traditional All-Stars season, but it’s just as likely that we’ll get a new twist.
