After a limited run in theaters worldwide, the critically praised film “Air,” starring Ben Affleck, be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

Amazon Studios has entered a new age in how it publishes certain original movies and the star-studded period sports drama that has generated early Oscar buzz signals the beginning of this new era.

The film will have a strong run in thousands of theaters because the studio has decided to adhere to a traditional theatrical window rather than releasing Air on streaming services immediately after it has been completed.

When Air finally debuted on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and teɼritories worldwide, it will have had a run of 39 days, during which it has been shown only in theaters. Initially penned by Alex Convery, The cast of Air is headed by Matt Damon and Viola Davis.

Gustaf Skarsgard plays Horst Dassler, and also starring in the film are Jason Bateman, Chris Messina, Matthew Maher, Marlon Wayans, and Chris Tucker. (Affleck also has a starring role.)

An endorsement that seemed impossible at the time but, thanks to the maverick sneaker salesman, would become the most significant relationship between an athletic brand and an athlete, launching the global, multibillion-dollar contingency known as Nike.

Do you know that for people to be able to view The Black Demon in theaters, they will have to wait a little bit longer:

Amazon Studios, Skydance Sports, and Mandalay Pictures are the companies behind the film’s production. In addition to being the first time that Affleck has directed a movie that stars his longtime friend, Damon, it is also the first project that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company Artists Equity has taken on.

Amazon was in charge of releasing “Air” in North America, while Warner Bros. International was responsible for the rest of the world due to their distribution agreement.
