After a multi-car collision in which a truck landed on its side, authorities shut down all eastbound traffic on the Coronado Bridge, according to CHP.
Corona, California The Coronado Police Department reported that a multi-crash on Sunday evening resulted in the closure of all eastbound lanes of the Coronado Bridge.

According to CHP logs, dispatchers heard of a collision involving many automobiles that were driving eastbound on the Coronado Bridge at 2:30 p.m.
A truck was on its side and a red and silver automobile was also involved in the collision when Coronado police arrived on the scene.
All eastbound traffic on the bridge was stopped by authorities while first responders and cleanup workers worked to clear the accident.
Both sides of the Coronado Bridge traffic were at a standstill, as shown in video supplied with CBS 8 by Twitter user “The Playlist King.” Due to the incident, at least one individual was taken in unknown condition to a local hospital.

The eastbound lanes of the Coronado Bridge should reopen around 4:47 Sunday, according to Coronado Police.
According to live updates provided by the California Highway Patrol, officers were able to fully restore both lanes of traffic around 4:22 p.m.
