There is a documentary on this subject called “Abducted in Plain Sight,” and it is absolutely true and flawlessly performed in every way. I saw the documentary when it came out in 2017, and I agree with the other reviewers who say you should watch that first. The next challenge is coming to terms with the reality that this happened the way it did; I simply cannot fathom how any parents could have tolerated this.
In retrospect, the old man should have shown some courage and done what any man would have done in that predicament, regardless of religious beliefs or naiveté. Mama, are you kidding me? After what had happened with the daughter, to go ahead and do this?
Bob Broberg’s parents should be held responsible for their child’s development into an egocentric, pedophilic genius, but it’s easier to place the blame on Bob himself. Parenting is hard in this day and age of social media, mobile phones, and all the seeming threats, but at least they are aware of these crazies and have information about them. Information is power!
