A shooting was reported in the 500 block of North Franklin Street in Lancaster City, close to where McCaskey High School is located, and the police arrived to the scene.
Following the conclusion of the varsity basketball game at approximately 9:20 p.m., the shooting took place, as reported by the Lancaster Dispatch.

The location was surrounded by tape that the police used to barricade the McDonald’s as well. There are more than 25 evidence markers that have been placed after a window at the McDonald’s was damaged.
An unnamed witness relayed the following statement: “No one deserves any of this, especially to be scared, especially when they are supposed to be here at a family-friendly restaurant to hang out with their friends and family.”

Immediately prior to the shooting, there was reportedly a brawl that took place inside of the McDonald’s restaurant.
The police have not confirmed any of the information at this time. There have been no reports of injuries up until this point.
