PHOENIX – Police say they have caught the man who they say shot and killed his boss at an apartment complex in west Phoenix. Phoenix Police say that when officers went to the scene on November 2 near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road, they found David Gordon, who was 51 years old, in the parking lot.

Gordon said he was in a shooting, so the police took him into custody. Then, police found Dariusz Swiader, who was 47 years old, with a gunshot wound inside a car. At the scene, Swiader was said to be dead. Documents from the court show that the two men had been fighting about a paycheck.
Gordon shouldn’t have had a gun because he had been convicted of a crime before. Gordon was taken to jail and is being charged with murder in the second degree. He is being held on a cash bond of $250,000.

Amelia Wroblewski, Swaider’s niece, says that the 47-year-old didn’t deserve to die. Wroblewski said, “He had his whole life ahead of him, but this man came and took his life when he was raising two young children.” “He was a good guy who never did anything wrong and was never mean… Gordon shot him twice in the head.”
