Our enormous, comprehensive list of the video game release dates in 2022 and beyond, is updated daily.

It is finally time! 2022 is the year where most of the bigger, highly-anticipated games from the previous year ended up. We have Elden Ring, Stalker 2, Windjammers 2, Horizon: Forbidden West, Dying Light 2, and many more to look forward to in 2018.

At least, that’s what it looks like right now, since some of those games might very well be pushed out yet more.

But let’s stay positive and take a look at what is certainly going to be a historic year in video game history. As always, we’ve compiled a comprehensive calendar of upcoming video game releases. We’re certain to miss a few, but most will be present.

Every day, we update this list and try to stay on top of everything, so items will shift and be added or removed frequently. Some developers will go months without releasing anything, but we will strive to keep this list up to current every day.

Keep it bookmarked, and check back often to see when a game you’ve been waiting for is going to be published. If you missed it, here are all video games released in 2021.

As the year progresses, this year’s list will be divided into sections for the various months. For the time being, this is how we’ve set them up.

January 2022 Video Game Release Dates

January started off a little slow this year, although not nearly as uneventful as in former years. A slew of major releases hit us right away, and we spent a lot of time with each of them. Monster Hunter Rise and God of War came to PC, Rainbow Six Extraction finally escaped development hell – and, the day some believed would never come: Windjammers 2 got out in January.

By now, it’s safe to say that February is just another October. This month in 2022, a record amount of eagerly awaited video games were released. Horizon: Forbidden West, Dying Light 2, Warhammer 3, Grid Legends, and the Destiny 2 Witch Queen expansion are also worthy of mention. Other notable independent releases in February included Sifu and OlliOlli World. Also, the Stream Deck was made available in February.
