The identities of the two victims who were killed after a Saturday night memorial service in Minnesota has been released. Monday, the St. Paul Police Department released the names of the two victims: Larry Jiles Jr., 34, of Hugo, Minnesota, and Troy Kennedy, 37, of St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jiles was known as “Chef Hot Hands,” according to a Fundraiser posted by FOX 9. One supporter wrote-
“I only met chef Larry once back in 2021 but he stands out as one of the people that inspired me to pursue culinary arts as a career. I could tell he put an immense love and passion into his work and it showed in his delicious food. May he rest in peace.”

The shooting also left three other persons wounded. On Sunday, authorities reported that one guy was in critical condition, one lady was in stable condition, and a third woman was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

This is some of our most recent coverage if you’re interested in local crime:

    • 1 Killed and 4 Injured in New Orleans Parade Shooting.
    • 1 Killed, 3 Wounded in Shooting at El Paso Shopping Mall.
At around 5:15 p.m., St. Paul police responded to the 500 block of Dale Street North on a shooting complaint. A “chaotic scene” greeted them upon their arrival. It was in the parking lot of Kings Crossing, an affordable senior housing complex, where the shooting took place.
Once the funeral service ended, police claimed an argument broke out, and bullets were fired in the parking lot. Although authorities have not found any evidence to the contrary, they do not believe this shooting was random. Currently, there have been no detentions.
