Keshia Knight Pulliam is going to have a baby! The “Cosby Show” star and her husband, Brad James, said Thursday that they are going to have their first child early next year.
“Baby James coming 2023!! 🥰❤️🥰,” the actress, 43, captioned a sweet Instagram boomerang cheekily set to the tune of Salt-N-Pepa’s 1986 smash hit “Push It!”
The clip shows Pulliam, who already has a 5-year-old daughter named Ella, posing for a picture with James, 41, with her foot out and her hand on her hip.
The soon-to-be mother of two glowed as she smiled for the camera while wearing a red and purple striped knit dress that hugged her body and reached the floor.
James, a fellow actor best known for his role in “Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse,” wore a sharp suit for the video, which was shot at “The Tamron Hall Show.”

During her time on the show, the actress talked about why she and her husband of just over a year waited so long to tell the public about their pregnancy.
“Not that I’ve been trying to hide it, but when you’ve had a miscarriage, when you’ve gone through this journey, you want to just enjoy this moment and want to make sure that everything is OK.”
– She told Hall, adding that she “feels so good” their secret is finally out.
Pulliam said that her daughter, whom she raises with her ex-husband Edgerton “Ed” Hartwell, is “so excited to be a big sister” that she “talks to the baby often.” She said, with a heavy heart, that Ella had been “on this journey, too,” referring to the loss of her pregnancy.
“‘Mommy, is the baby going to stay with us this time? Is it going to stay?’” Pulliam remembered that her daughter asked, and she said that Ella is “so happy” to hear that “everything is going well.”
Pulliam and Hartwell were married for five years before they split up in 2011. She met James on the set of the 2019 TV movie “Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta,” which is based on the book. The two got engaged in December 2020 and got married the following September.
