The 54-year-old Double Jeopardy actress disclosed that she broke her leg during the summer while she lamented the passing of her mother Naomi Judd during their Wednesday discussion about intergenerational trauma with UCLA professor Dr. Jonathan Flint. She suffered a femoral condyle fracture 1 and a half years after nearly dying in the Democratic Republic of the Congo after fracturing her leg in the middle of a dense forest in February 2021.
According to Ashley, who spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, the most recent fracture happened during the summer. “It was what it was,” I said. “Clumsiness is related with loss, and after mum passed away, other family members went down the stairs and had accidents; mine was just how I happened to look at the time.”

Ashley also made mention of the “legal piece” of her mother’s death, which has been attempting to prevent the disclosure of the conclusions of the death inquiry. Her mother’s medical records and the video of the police questioning her in the final moments of Naomi’s life are among the things she doesn’t want made public.
The Judds: Love Is Alive — The Final Concert, a historical concert event featuring Wynonna, will take place at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) on November 3 and recreate The Judds 1991 Farewell Tour, it was revealed on Wednesday.
