Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and Ajichika wrote and drew the manga that inspired the anime.

In mid-2021, Netflix released the first season of the show. Let’s see when Season 2 of “Record of Ragnarok” will be released. We have compiled all of the information we currently have about Season 2 of ‘Record of Ragnarok’.

Will There Be ‘Record of Ragnarok’ Season 2?

Season 2 of ‘Record of Ragnarok’ is confirmed. Netflix Japan confirmed in August 2021 that the second season of ‘Record of Ragnarok’ was already under production.

‘Record of Ragnarok’ Season 2 Plot

There were some very epic battles in the first season of “Record of Ragnarok,” in which the following deities squared off against a who’s who of history’s most famous figures.

Kojiro Saski’s heroics in the third round saved the day for humanity.

Thor overcame Lu Bu, a military general, and warlord, in the opening round.

Zeus, the deity of the gods, vanquished Adam in the second round.

When Japanese swordsman Kojiro Saski vanquished sea god Poseidon in the third bout, it gave humanity new hope.

The fourth round of the battle will open the second season. At some point during this round, one of history’s most notorious serial killers will confront Hercules.

Shiva, the third god in the Hindu triad, and sumo wrestler Raiden Tameemon will go head-to-head in the fifth round. Round 6 will feature Buddha and God of Misfortune Zerofuku.

The manga’s story will be closely followed in the second season.

Anime director Masao Kubo remarked in an interview with Anitrendz that he always ensures that the anime does not deviate from the manga.

“When I composed the anime, I always had those who hadn’t read the manga in mind,” the director remarked.

Record of Ragnarok Season 2

As a result, I made sure that the anime didn’t deviate from its source material. As I indicated earlier, I tried to include the elements that I was most thrilled about while reading the manga and leave them out of the translation. For me, the anime had to be as faithful as possible to the manga.”

As the director pointed out, the plot, storyboard, and character settings are all examined by the creators of the original works. For the episodic format, however, they offer them the creative leeway to alter some of their scripts and conversations.

According to him, “the authors recognized manga and anime have distinct methods of presenting the same moments,” which allowed him to achieve nearly whatever he desired.

An animated version of the manga would have been impossible because the original contains far too many lines (as in actual lines, not text and character conversation). There were still concerns from the personnel even though I had tried to limit the number of lines as much as feasible… “I’ve come to my senses.”

When is the Second Season of Record of Ragnarok available on Netflix?

Despite the fact that the new season is now in production, the anime is expected to return in 2022 at the earliest.
