Toni Collette’s New Netflix Series, Pieces of Her, Gets a First Look

Staring Collette as Laura, another remarkable limited series, Pieces of Her, will arrive on Netflix on March 4. The upcoming series is based on a best-selling thriller of the same name by Karin Slaughter.  

The series spins around Laura, a caring mother and speech pathologist from a little village in Georgia. She has a beautiful daughter named Andrea (Bella Heathcote).

When they are caught in the heart of a tragic mass shooting at a neighborhood diner, havoc enters their lives. Andy’s perception of her mild-mannered mother is forever transformed after Laura disarms the attacker with startlingly violent ease.

The twisting series was developed by the creators who also created Big Little Lies. Let’s see more details about the upcoming series.

Netflix has officially confirmed the series date of the limited series. It will hit the screen on March 4.

Pieces of Her Plot

Pieces of Her revolves around a loving mother, Laura, and her daughter Andre. The danger surrounds their life when they will be caught up in a fatal mass shooting at a small diner in their neighborhood.

However, moments later, Laura, easily and viciously neutralizes the threat. Andrea’s perspective towards her mother changes when she sees her mother handling the situation so well.

She begins to search about the past of her mother which Laura has buried long years back. In his journey of finding out the stands of truth, she flees from her house. Well, the story seems intriguing. It will be interesting to see Andre searching for the past of his mother, Laura.
