If you need to see a little more from the film, the first pictures of Shang-Chi have also been announced by Entertainment Weekly. You can check it out here:
- The Shang-Chi cast is as follows:

With the first trailer, we also got a tiny official summary for the film that Shang-Chi must face the past he imagined he went behind when he is pulled into the web of the secret Ten Rings group.
We understand from the trailer that after being trained as a slayer, his dad Wenwu let Shang-Chi experience ordinary life for 10 years. That wouldn’t be the most enjoyable Marvel film, though, so clearly soon, “it’s time for you to get your spot by my side”, his father describes him.
Given that Wenwu is the Mandarin and head of the Ten Rings group, we don’t think Shang-Chi is about to become a rascal, so the show will probably see him battle his dad’s Ten Rings team and learn what it needs to be a champion.
The Ten Rings have been in the MCU as the initial movie. The team grabbed Tony Stark, accidentally setting him on the way to becoming Iron Man.
They have never been a big fear to date but don’t manage Shang-Chi retconning some events in the MCU to determine that the Ten Rings, and the Mandarin himself, have been drawing strings all beside.
Marvel is a proven hitmaker at this time, and the corresponding uncertainty of the Shang-Chi cast seemingly won’t be an obstacle to the movie’s conclusion.
