Vannessa and Ashely look excited to find out whether 1000-lb Best Friends will return in Season 2. Vannessa’s Instagram account recently hosted a Q&A session where they answered questions about a second season and whether or not fans may expect a reunion following the Season 1 finale.
A follow-up season would be “dreamed up,” as Vannessa stated during the Q&A. “Right now, we’re not sure. Until anything concrete happens, we’re all still waiting.” The producers may want to hold off on disclosing her current weight until Season 2, based on her statement that she’s “not permitted.” In other words, there is hope.

There was no problem recruiting obese women who needed weight loss surgery and a new diet to join TLC‘s program for 1000-lb Best Friends. Similar to a mix between 1000-lb Sisters and The Real Housewives, the show would have aired on E! The audience, on the other hand, learned that Vannessa, Meghan, Ashley, and Tina are all real-life friends.
Even though many people assume that reality programs are edited and that some scenes are contrived, the cast of 1000-lb Best Friends is real. In addition, they do this in real life as well as on the program, energizing and motivating one another.
